Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on April 15,1976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian elementary education. Ward went to Ouachita parish high school for secondary education. After that, she attended River Oaks High School the summer following her junior year. She did a brief stint at Northeast Louisiana University after graduating. In the year she turned thirteen, old Ward started modeling after leaving school, and then moving into New York in order to achieve this. She tried her hand in acting later in the year. She first appeared on screen in 1970. an uncredited character in the soap opera All My Children and was later cast in the short-lived NBC premier-time teen-drama Malibu Shores. The soap for daytime Sunset Beach cast Ward as the female Meg Cummings in late 1996.
